This Monday (2nd March) –
Sue MacFarlane is, and always has been, a singer of songs. When asked how long she has been singing, she says that she can’t ever remember a time when she didn’t sing. She sang at home, at school, in Sunday School, in the church choir, and was singing in pubs and folk clubs by the time she was twelve. Sue worked an apprenticeship singing in northern Working Men’s clubs, and further afield. As a professional musician, she has worked on cruise ships, in theme parks, in restaurants and music bars in places such as Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Spain & Dubai. After a break, Sue is back now working as a professional singer and, last year, won the Hiring Fair at Cleckheaton Festival. Sue is also a Natural Voice Practitioner, and runs singing groups and workshops where she helps others find their natural voice and enjoy using it for singing. 30 min set so plently of open spots.
